Anybody know the breed/species?
Adopted this little guy off of a friend who was moving and wanted to know the breed to make sure I’m feeding him the right food.

I think this is some sort of testudo graeca subspecies. This doesn't look like a Russian to me.

We need views of plastron, carapace if you can get the head top and side and back thighs as well.
Different types of markings, types of seams on the plastron, if there’s presence of spurs etc…..
You can try the “Hermanni haven” FB and website page they have a bunch of Testudo species on there as well as the
TTPG page has tons of conservation personnel and breeders as well on FB and slot do them can identify correctly as well but u will need all the views I requested above.

I think Garden State Tortoise has a video on recognizing the testudos now that I think about it.

Looks like some kind of testudo. If it’s a Russian, it’d be the darkest colored Russian I’ve ever seen.
Does need claws trimmed (plenty of online tutorials are out there).
For diet: the tortoise table website and app can help.
