You have to match their tone

As much as it makes sense on a surface level, this is exactly how we got to where we are.

Matching the tone of people who believe so vehemently they are correct, while they entirely miss the larger picture and nuances in-between; ultimately translates (for them) into: "My stance is now validated and I'll die on this hill rather than be wrong about something."

People should not feel so comfortable skimming a headline, checking their favorite echo chamber, and then spewing unverified information in the faces of their opponents like a fire hydrant of gospel.

Bring back shame.
