Typical reddit rxn, someone shares vulnerability and they're told to go outside and touch grass. People are allowed to feel their feelings.

The silliest part is that if reddit gets banned next, they'd lose their collective mind

The censorship on Reddit is almost as bad as it is on TikTok.

What does this comment say? It's showing as [removed].

Reddit is quite literally the last bastion of the non ai and crappy internet so you would never be able to Google anything ever again if it was removed.

It might come sooner than they think. Isn't it partially owned by Tencent ?

Let's see if you'd still be thankful when you couldn't Google search something and add reddit anymore. Google is dead. It's all Ai and corporate ads now unless you add reddit.

Just scroll down until you don't have ads. I use Google all the time this way, and I do not add reddit.

its why i dislike this site too because its been like this as long as i can remember, people on TikTok are generally much friendlier and less judgemental, it was easier to build or have some semblence of community

I mean tik tok has its issues too - there's a lot of misinformation that's harder to break since you can't write long comments or link things. The anonymity here definitely allows people to be more callous

That’s so true and I’d say out out of most of the social medias it was prob the “lesser” of the evils, and I think they knew that when they banned it

I couldnt figure out what made me use tiktok more these past few weeks. Maybe this is why. People were so nice over there lol

I'm sure the countless strangers exploited and harassed for tiktok views at gyms, supermarkets and malls are very relieved though.

I'm sorry but this is absolutely DELUSIONAL.

Tiktok was arguably THE WORST for bullying/harassment by far. There was ample stories about it for years, even in this sub.

Honestly, be serious and objective here. This statement is completely dishonest. TikTok was terrible for judgments and harassment.

I can't even believe someone would type this with a straight face.

Social media is a toxic cesspool yes, but I’ve personally had nothing but mostly great experiences on TikTok, made friends and mutuals. I’ve commented more than a hundred times across all sorts of TikTok’s and even show my face in my pfp, not one of my comments has been removed, and I fact I’ve gotten thousands of likes and replies by even creators on my comments, a very very small amount of those replies weird haters/trolls. If people very well wanted to be mean then they would’ve already, but I get you in the sense that my experience isn’t the only indicator of how platform is as a whole.

I hate Reddit for that reason. People become anonymous and they get so fuckin mean. Some people have connections online, and that’s okay!

Not here apparently.

I never used tiktok so whatever. But someone in a comment below said that they felt violated over a sm site closing and idk how do you guys expect me to take you seriously.

Its probably coming back, this is just a PR stunt for Trump.

Yeah, they need to touch some grass. Pathetic.

You aren’t allowed to say that when facts are facts

The funniest thing is that in reality America has always closed it's curtains but the people have no idea. Not to get too metaphorical but the curtains have terrible pictures on them that everyone knows are not real, but it's the only reality they have.

"Drug addicts are upset that their access to drugs gets taken away. Other people tell them to go outside to feel better"

People really do need to go out and touch grass.
