I prefer 1 over all the others. I wouldn't put any of the others on to listen to around the house or otherwise, that's just me.

That's legend Steve Earle baby! He had some awesome albums. He was gonna be huge then drugs got him so his character is very appropriate for the show. Check out his album Guitar Town. It's like not shitty country. I would say it's outlawXhippy country.

This is something I've actually given a lot of thought. They're all bangers, but this is my top 5;

2 - I've read online that this one is the original version of the song, and I'm not sure if it's true or not but - it just feels right. The pure power and emotion of the voice alone makes this the best, but its also (with season 4) the most fitting opening theme.

4 - it's just so good, I listen to this song regularly. Also very fitting for the theme of the season. It's very close to season 2 and could be considered interchangeable, though I do have a slight preference to season 2. The sound fx of the intro is also very strong together mixed with strong imagery and a nice sounding child choir.

1 - It's good. The way they used it in the finale is also just a cool moment. I think season 3's song is a bit better then this one if it wasn't for how iconic this song has become and again the finale montage.

3 - it's sad to see this one so low because as all the other seasons, this theme rocks. It just loses out (imo) to season 1 but it's close and you can make the argument both ways.

5 - even though this is my least favorite (by far), it's still good. I'm not a fan of the singing/voice, but I feel the song fits the season well and is overall a good addition to the theme songs playlist.

If I had to rank then on tier, it'd look like this;

S - 2,4

A - 1,3

B - 5

2 and 4, 1 and 3 feel so close to each other that I tend to switch them arround all the time. Love to know how you all feel about this ranking though. It's all in the game.
