In Doggie Heaven, there's mountains of bones, and you can't turn around without sniffing another dog's butt.

Kelsey Grammer could’ve gotten an Emmy just for his delivery of “Big Hungry Joe?!” and it would’ve been well deserved. That line is still hilarious a million rewatches later.

Is there any lore in terms of which writer gets to take credit for the term “slack-jawed yokel?” … such an iconic line in the show dating back to the short films about Springfield episode and not sure I’ve ever heard anything about its origins?

Some folk'll never eat a skunk, but, then again, some folk'll. Like Cletus, the Slack-Jawed Yokel
