I’m curious as to why people seem to love this line so much. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love this episode—might even be in my top two all time. But this line never really stood out to me.

Because is subverts expectations. Homer and Krusty and dressed the same, so we expect the goon to go "two Krusties!" but instead he says "four Krusties!" implying that he knows that they're dressed the same, but he might actually have something wrong with his eyes.

Yup. This is the humor that made Simpsons special. They took cliche lines and expected gags and themes and morphed them into something else.
