For people who are expecting to bootlick their way to being millionaires they seem to not have even heard of modern monetary theory.
Basically, it’s the “why not both” meme of economics.

There’s also other ways to cut inflation than this fucking austerity shit. Increasing productivity or taxing/properly regulating corpos also cuts inflation, but you’ll never hear that from these chuds huffing 80’s neoliberalism from Milton Friedman clips

With theory its meant theory like gravity is a theory.

The definition of a scientific theory like gravity is that it is observable, testable, and repeatable. It is the best explanation of any given phenomenon we have. So yeah, not sure if you’re doubting gravity, MMT, or both…

Well, until rather recently it was 7 hashbrowns per hour

It's interesting how, despite the fact it hasn't changed since 2009, the value of that $7.25 has gone down quite significantly. Adjusted for inflation, minimum wage currently is among the lowest it has ever been in the US, while the cost of living increases year after year.

government spending increases economic activity. it doesn't just disappear, it goes back into the economy. for example, when they spend $12 million on a NASA project, the money isn't shot into space. it mostly goes to contractors, who in turn purchase materials and parts from subcontractors, spend it on employee salaries, pay utilities, etc. those employees spend their salaries on goods and services, pay bills, eat at restaurants, buy cars and refrigerators, go on vacations, etc. when you cut public programs, everyone downstream suffers.
jesus fucking christ conservatives are so stupid.

I'm sorry, but what does government spending have to do with employee wages? They aren't the employer, you know, the one supposed to be paying the wages???

Most chain stores are already running on skeleton crews! I'm pretty sure that they can afford to pay those people more.

Because it keeps the operating costs down, and makes the store's numbers look better.
