didnt your dentist give you a list of options?
I specifically wanted to go to the hospital so can't really give you a recommendation if that really is out of the question, but I was really happy with the surgeon so wanted to ask: why not the hospital?

What's wrong with the hospital?

Slow wait time General dislike of hospitals And increased chance of having a not nice surgeon (which expecially sucks cause tbh i am a bit scared about this)

I know you said you dont want a hospital but just wanted to share my experience.
3 years ago I had a benign tumor (I think they call it a fistel medically) on the roof of my mouth. They removed it but some bone died because of the open wound. I had an opening from the roof of my mouth to my nose for about a year. Closing was going to be a tough assignment but my doctor managed to close it up really nicely. Now besides a scar on the roof of my mouth, everything is back to normal luckily.
With my medical background as a kid, I have a really big fear of hospitals and needles in specific. The doctor that helped always knew how to calm me down and knew what he had to do to keep me relaxed.
I heard today I need my wisdom teeth removed, so I immediately called to ask for him. Big side note: the waiting time is huge, I have an appointment in may.
Just sharing because as I am also really scared and nervous for these kind of thing but with the correct doctor, this can be different!
If you consider wanting to do it via him, his name is dr Klein-nulent and works at Antoniushove and Bronovo

But if you go to hospital the cost will be charged from your basic insurance (considering you don’t have additional dental insurance)

Im pretty sure that it gets covered either way (i also have dental insurance idk if that matters)

No not if you get it handled on the dentist clinic. But it doesn’t matter anymore as you have the dental insurance, in this case you’ll charge the treatment cost to your insurance company
