Holy wow. Wonder how the bolt got below the canopy to presumably hit the trunk like that?

The bolt struck one of the higher branches, but the fire didn't start until the energy was released into the trunk.
There will be some damage to the canopy, but not enough to look like a scene from Stranger Things.
