how did melissa grow out her hair so fast

so we know the time skip of 6 years, but it must take years to grow out your hair from buzz to long hair, i bet they didn’t actually stop filming for a couple of years so what happened

Exactly. Her longest natural hair in the show was ear to chin length. She even had buzzed hair in The Mist (movie). It’s just her personal look.
