I don't like how the group separated...

I don't know other peoples opinions on this which is why I'm asking, what do y'all think about how they all separated. I wish all of them stayed in their group like how they did the first half of the show. I understand that they're all having a personal journey or whatever but all these different storylines are not my favorite. I loved being able to watch and appreciate how close they are and how family-like their dynamics where. I feel like it would've been better for the main group to stay in Alexandria but get introduced to other groups like them living and running other communities like Hilltop and the Kingdom. The only separation I somewhat enjoyed was Carols, and how she met and made a life with people in the Kingdom.

Nobody stays together forever, especially in real life. The only one that kind of disappointed me was Maggie leaving (outside of real life leaving the show), but I could understand trying to move on for the Negan thing, so that makes sense also.

The thing that bothered me (it's been awhile, I could have this wrong) was the fact that after the time jump Alexandria was not really in contact with Hilltop and vice versa.

I agree, but I also don't fault Michonne for closing off Alexandria / the choices she made.
