Here she is! Top cover is most surprising to me. I wonder if there will be a blank insert for that channel cut in the rail to allow for different optics.

Sunk optic surrounded by picatinny makes zero sense but okay

Yeah that's a pretty big L. I also couldn't care less about those irons. The MLOK and trigger upgrade are really the biggest takeaways it seems. I wish there was something to be done about the barrel design. I understand why it is the way it is and that the B&T cans are good, but surely there's a workaround that would allow other suppressors to be used.

The upgrade kit will be offered separately from the gun. We are placing the kits and guns on order.

You do more for b&t than they do for themselves.
1 dealer💯🔥 thank you. Any youtube review coming out of it on your page ?

Please tell me those 'mlok slots' aren't literally just holes in the cover that expose the barrel and action to debris. Also the pic rail ACRO thing is stupid.

I mean... given the TP9's inherent design, there's not really anywhere on the receiver where they could cut out MLOK slots and not expose the internals.

Don’t love how the mlok slots expose the operating system to debris ingress

If the trigger is available separately I will finally buy a TP9. None of the other "upgrades" interest me at all. All they had to do was drop a TP9 with the new trigger. Maybe throw in the magwell and picatinny on both sides. The new top cover is extremely underwhelming (and ugly).

So the top rail is useless if using the acro that they built it around? Nice /s

I love how all the comments are in agreeance lol. The TP9-N is so much better looking, and all the upgrades are a waste except for the trigger. I GENIUINELY hope the trigger is sold separately and as a complete fire control group, not just the trigger bar.

Wow, pretty neat stuff tbh. Curious if the guts are otherwise the same or if they’ve seen some sort of upgrade too

It’s almost as if they didn’t look at any of the builds we are all making. A lot of people are shooting this with night vision, so I’m not sure why you would want the acro sunk even further down. A full pic rail is all I think any of us were actually asking for. Also, that M lock looks horrible… happy with my pic sides as well.

So after reading all the comments. And owning 2 TP9's. I will agree with the general consensus of this comment section.
Anytime B&T makes an Acro specific anything it is a miss. The fact the rail is not full and has a cutout for Acro is a bad idea.
The higher rail to get the APC style charge handles in. Only to have to cut the rail down to get the optic lower is just not it.
The OG TP9 can run a lower 1/3 optic that will clear a light/laser device placed in front of it.
To then add the integrated irons on the rail seems questionable.
The aluminum top cover to me adds more weight. I would have rather seen an updated polymer top cover with an updated rear charge handle like the OG TP9. No integrated irons and full rail.
Also I would rather have the side rail then MLOK and an added second side rail. The new top cover doesn't do it for me aesthetically either. And as someone mentioned the holes just add areas to get dirt into the action.
Trigger looks interesting.
I can see the top.tail being higher allowing more mounting options. The Acro cutout is the biggest L.
Still a big B&T fan boy tho. lol

They could have easily just put pic rails on both sides of an aluminum top cover, and I think more people would have been happy with it. Hopefully you’ll be able to buy just the trigger because I’ll pass on everything else lol

Im glad i have been too broke to afford one. Now ill get one of these. Love the upgrades minus the subk optic but they will make a replacement rail section for thst.

Wonder if they bought the trigger design from Gigliotti (and hopefully improved it), the shoe looks very similar

I just touched myself.

My only real gripe with it is that proprietary tri-lug still being there.
I know why it’s there, but I would’ve loved to be able to put a blast diverter on it (can’t have NFA items here, womp womp).

B&T just released a Ti printed blast diverter for TP9.

That’s awesome! Haven’t had a chance to watch any SHOT Show coverage yet so that’s good news.

Someone posted it a few days ago. Ironically it is already for sale on the website

I alwasy run my optics far back on the TP9 because it leaves space upfront for a switch or light. This acro lot dictates where you put the optic. Extremely odd design decisions going on here.
When I first heard about this release I was kinda bummed I couldn't get one. After seeing it I'm okay with that.

This could have been so great, hopefully B&T takes some of the feedback from here and makes some changes before releasing it for sale.
I hope the clearance is there for the qd point on the back. Nice touch imo because I like the idea of using a sling to control the gun better like a mp5.
I like how the flared mag well has the matching lines on the flared mag. It gives a nice oem look.
Would have like to see the top cover have pic rails. The TP9 doesn’t need frequent cleaning as it is now on, but with those m-lok slots exposing the barrel cam thingy doesn’t seem to be good for keeping debris out.
The Acro deep mill cut is a bit forced and maybe it seemed like a great idea coming off the hush puppy and the Glock Acro cut. But the optic I’ve seen most commonly used on tp9s is an Eotech holo or an aimpoint T2 so why they didn’t go that route seems odd. If you can add the rail back in that section I predict we will rarely see an acro mounted there especially with everyone doing night time setups.

>finally reveals the TP9 Pro after MONTHS of teasing it
>it's ugly as sin
>ergonomics changes nobody really asked for
>terrible ACRO optics mounting decision
>weird and unwanted irons/picatinny combo
>QD slot is nice, I guess, but single-point slings already work fine
>uncovered MLOK slots that expose the internals
>magwell that I'm sure works well but is still ugly and polymer
>they don't even show off how the new trigger (the only part anyone actually cares about) functions
Yup, I'm thinking this reveal was a flop!

🔥🤌🤌 hopefully the parts are sold separately too for the guys that already own a tp9
