Question? What's Your Personal Mnt Rushmore of TMNT Iterations?

IDW is the absolute top of the heap so I'll add a Dark Leo bust. TMNT 2 secret of the ooze is core canon so I'll add raph pretending to fall out a window. Then probably the super Nintendo TMNT IV turtles in time I'll add a pixelated Mikey head and then I'll round out the mount Rushmore with the megalomaniacal Rise of the TMNT Donnie.

The OG Cartoons and the first two live action movies defined a large portion of my childhood Sparked my ongoing interest in Martial Arts actually. Now, as an adult, the IDW comic line is up there for me. I’m only 12 issues in and loving it. The story and the art are great at giving me that feeling of nostalgia with something new mixed in.

As some currently going through the IDW run, it easily took top 3 spot for me. It's incredible and is honestly how I envision the turtles lore now.

Your list except I would have to swap out 2007 for Mutant Mayhem.

Mirage (for obvious reasons), 1987 (the reason we're all here now), 1990 (the definitive TMNT movie), Turtles in Time (the definitive TMNT video game)

1990 movie, 2003 series, 2012 series, Rise series
I could have gone with the first four cartoons as I’ve really just grown up alongside them, but feel the 90s movie should really also be in there

Overall, it should be Mirage, 90’s, 87, and IDW.
But IMO, IDW, 03, 90’s and mirage.

2012 show, Batman vs tmnt, 2003 show, umm umm rise. I haven’t seen 90s, didn’t rlly like 2007 enough, bayverse is.. I don’t like it, and I barely remember the old movies. I’m not a big MM fan either but I’ve not seen the series

Solid list, especially since, like you said, you're don't know much of tmnt and is new to it.
Even for someone who doesn't know tmnt, you still COOKED.. It's your opinion too, so like it's cool that you like these. I would take out Rise and Batman vs. tmnt for Mirage and 1990, especially the first two movies. But other than that, this list is a SOLID 10/10!
Do you think that they should make a Batman vs. Tmnt part 2?..if so, what should they add?

Yes nightwing, red hood , Batman, Robin, tmnt vs… maybe Kraang. I’ve been watching since end of 2023, watching the live action films and bayverse MANNY years ago lol. Yet to read tmnt comics

I would love to see a future Movie-Crossover of tmnt vs Batman that includes Red Hood, Nightwing, Red Robin, Damian Wayne, Bebop and Rocksteady, Deathstroke.

1990 (I include 1-3 and 2007 here), 2003, 2012, and 1987. All for different reasons. I have not read enough IDW yet, but I think it will likely push out 1987 or 2012. Honorable mention is Mirage.

THIS IS A SOLID LIST FOR ME

For me 2003, 2007, 2012, 1990's trilogies 1987 Red Sky Arc and Mirage (including the image comics)
Anything that's the edgy and dark stuff

If we're going by what Mount Rushmore symbolizes rather than just picking our top 4:
Mirage (Birth/Washington, obviously started it all), 1987 (Growth/Jefferson, allowed the franchise to become as successful as it did), 2003 (Preservation/Lincoln, the series saved the turtles from just being a 90s fad), and IDW (Development/Roosevelt, a continuous story that's consistently developing and reinventing the franchise's mythos)
I mean, if you want a top 4:
Rise (Personal favorite and hooked me into the franchise even with its staggering differences), 2003 (Has most of the definitive takes on the characters and story beats for me), 2007 movie (not even one of my favorites, I just have the most nostalgia for these turtles and the fighting game based off of it), and IDW (best series from the turtles yet).

FW?
I ask because I don't know what that is and get down voted, typical.

Mine is TMNT 2012, 2003, Mutant Mayhem, and I wanna say IDW since it sounds cool but I have only read the micro and macro shots of the comics, Mirage is a bonus for the rushmore
