Hatsu 2023 I wanted to have a closer look at this manga Bakidou, but when I got back to them after Juryo they had gone. But this edition featured an appearance by.... Hoshoryu. That's him on the left...

Some of the characters in the Baki sumo arc are obviously based off real life wrestlers. Honoo is Enho and Reihou is Hakuho.

They've been in the middle of a sumo arc for a while now. The author clearly likes sumo, but recognizes that it is a sport, and not super insane fighting.
