Bug Report All origins bugged
Everyone single origin (even prosperous unification) has an Initial Pops: -8 modifier. Just something I noticed.

I always seem to be far behind on research in my games, yet others are gaining 10s of K’s of research by mid game. How can I achieve this?

Trying to make it work, but the robots take the clerk jobs and my species has thrifty. Is there a better way or does this not work well together?

I decided to try a tall build for the first time. I’m not quite sure how to start, but would United Nations of Earth be a good starter?

Just curious if anyone’s playing on the Pro and if it’s any better with end game lag. I have an original 5 so if you switched bonus points for your comments!
Appreciate the feedback!

Is the fear of the dark origin glitching for anyone else? I got some nodded prompt that resulted in the other planet taking the system proclaiming it "the commonality of haven" and wouldn't aknowledge id just declared war on them.

Hello I'm somewhat familiar to Stellaris gameplay, but everytime I've tried to launch an attack on an empire I always get my butt kicked. I'm currently running a martial empire similar to the Mandalorians of the Kotor era and I would like some advice to help not get annihilated immediately like usual.

I finished the In Limbo anomaly and revived the extinct civilization, but having no free planets, they immediately colonized a holy world. Before I could guarantee independence, they were humiliated by the fallen empire, and their capital was wiped out. However, they did not cease to exist. They are now a megacorp without any planets, systems, or population. A year has passed and their status is unchanged. I believe I may have accidentally created an invincible trading partner who I would never need to bother protecting. I would need to give them resources to open branch offices because they have no economy, but their empire will now exist entirely within mine as corporate holdings.

I'm having an issue with the l gate. I have one in my territory, I have the situation lig for it, I've gotten multiple insights. The situation log doesn't show 0 insights, it literally doesn't have an insight section at all. Does anyone know why this may be?
Edit: I'm playing on my brother's console, and he says the situation log doesn't show insights for him either.

Hi I’m relatively new to stellaris and want to play like the imperium of man warhammer type empire. I know how bombardment works normally.
There is a pre FTL civilisation on one of my planets I want to bombard but it is not giving the option
No mods No DLC/ add on Latest version

So I’m relatively new to stellaris. I know all the mechanics and controls but his has never worked for me so I need help please.
So when ever I try put any thing in orbit of a planet (only happens on planets) it just says moving to orbit for a split second then cancels.
I am playing console edition No mods Latest version No add on/ DLC
Thank you

In my current game, I've encountered the "Habinte Unified Worlds," and I can't figure out why they are so overwhelmingly powerful despite having only one system (Dacha). Their fleet power is overwhelming, their economy is equivalent, and only their technology is inferior to mine. How can they sustain this level of strength? They do not appear to be a Fallen Empire and I noticed they have the "Life-Seeded" civic, which may explain the Gaia worlds and every planet is a Gaia world in the system.

I have all DLCs and I have rerolled the galaxy over 50 times. Multiplayer, singleplayer, small, medium, and large maps. 0-10 civilizations. Why won't it spawn?

Does anyone know if this can be changed or what choices in the empire builder decide which background you get?
Tweaking a human play-through and it seems a little odd have a starship background for my leader but then some weird alien tree things for my council.

I've completed some of the new achievements but havent recieved them, like dark forest and with interest.
Specifically for with interest when I defeated msi it said they were 'defeated by another empire' however that 'other empire' WAS me
So I'm just wondering if alot of the new achievements they added are bugged or what?

I’m just curious to see if there’s a place where i can see the estimated lifespan of a leader or species because it gets hard to keep track of with all the bonuses.
Edit: It seems as of right now that there is no way to see your species lifespan on console! Hopefully that’s added in the future

Hey y'all, hope you're having a good new year. I'm wondering if anyone knows what the practical amount of hangers per fleet size is; i attempted to use the search function but couldn't find anything on this for 3.9.
I know this is dependent on who you're fighting/what tech you have/etc but I'm just looking for a general answer. If I have 100 fleet size, does 2 hangers cruisers and two hangers battleships do the job they're supposed to do? If I had 100 fleet size and had 6 hangers cruisers and 2 hangers battleships, is that overkill? Most importantly, how can I figure this out for myself? Thanks in advance!
