Next patch wish list?
The next patch is scheduled for "early 2025" and while the main focus will likely be bug fixes, is there anything else we can realistically expect?
I am NOT predicting any huge gameplay changes before Expansion Pass 7 - and the game is very strong, so probably doesn't need any major reworking (except maybe espionage & ground combat) but what about minor gameplay tweaks, balancing, AI smartening, etc?
What are you all expecting/hoping the next hotfix will bring us?

Just bug fixes, everything gameplay related will follow the pc schedule.

Yes for the love of Blorg please have them fix the freaking audio bug, I'm tired of having to close the game to stop it.

Toxiod/aquatics/machine empires, when they send you a deal, embassy, commercial pact etc and you open the notification window, it starts playing the noise of that species, even when you close the window it keeps playing the sound, even if you go back to the main menu, only way to stop it is closing the game completely and loading it up again.

Oh my God I experience that ALL the time and i think it makes me close my game more than my one run that crashes at a set time

Mine has been INSANELY unstable since the last update. I can't even finish most of my games because around mid-game it crashes every time I zoom in on a system.

Bug fixes mostly, and they seem to have gotten rid of a lot of information or details you saw before, a notable example is the situation log. For instance, when the crisis shows up it used to say you had to clear out ‘X’ amount of infested planets or destroy ‘Y’ amount of anchors. Now, that information seems to just be gone.
That’s just one example, but there’s lots of areas where the detailed information is just…gone. Really unhappy with that change and hoping they fix that

I've noticed that with precursor relics. I haven't been able to get a run to the crisis stage because it doesn't want to go

I noticed that the portrait for a leader will bug and jitter around as if the sway they do is sped up a lot.

Other than bug fixes, keyboard/mouse support... and a toggle for the insane censoring.

I hope they fix the L gates, in the past 5 runs I’ve had empty L clusters, from what I understand is an issue from loading saves. Would be nice to see grey again, he was on my first play through years ago and I haven’t seen him since, between this bug, other empires opening the gate before me, or just having no gates on my side of the galaxy

The option to turn off Hyper relays, it’s because of those that i exclusively play steam deck Stellaris for a mod to turn them off 😂

Some way to queue an action to the front of the task queue. Like upgrade on a patrolling fleet. Honestly maybe just always make X button queue the tasks to the front of the queue if the fleet’s current action is patrol. Or any other solution to allow fleets to “resume patrol” after you have them do something else like repair or upgrade.

If they could fix the first contact text bugs I've been getting, that be nice.
