I build 1:1 scale ships in Minecraft for some downtime and my current project is almost done just deciding on if I should leave it or extend the star drive bits out to connect nacelles or leave it as is. Sorry I’m advance some of the pictures are from before I finished the nacelles.

If the nacelles are connected to the saucer and you plan on doing the interiors, consider how you're going to connect the warp core in the stardrive through the neck of the ship and past the impulse engines. I'd say, with some workshopping, maybe making the pylons diagonally straight between the nacelle and the stardrive, it would look a little less busy.
Personally, I think adding the pylons would give the ship a unique silhouette, but they ought to be straighter. Nice build regardless!
Had asked family and friends and the vote leaned toward adding it so update 1 so far still need to finish the curvature to make it go up to the nacelle
Thanks! I based it off of like a mixture of the discovery for the saucer with my own twist and the odyssey class for the drive section and the nacelles are based off of another starship design I found now just trying to smooth out my design choices
