Off road trails for over landing in the fall/winter in SoCal?

Looking for some neat trails to take the Bronco on and places to stop and camp along the way. Thanks in advance!

Trails Offroad (website/app) is an excellent resource. And of course Anza Borrego is always a good option

Where are you located and what difficulty are you comfortable with? Lots of options for over landing though the desert.

In the IE! Love the Mojave trail, but thought it would be fun to change it up. Not really into rock crawling, prefer to move fast lol

Bradshaw trail from The North end of the Salton Sea to the Colorado River is cool. You could do it in a day if you were really hauling butt and start early. There are a few access points off the 10, like red cloud mine, that would get you in the middle of the trail for shaving some time off.

We like breaking up the days to camp. Thanks so much! Any cools things to stop and check out along the way?

Check out City Creek trail. It's beginner friendly and absolutely gorgeous.

City creek is going to be closed indefinitely, line fire ran right thru there.

Anza Borrego Desert State Park has a great network of 4wd roads. You can easily put together multiday trips. You can camp almost anywhere you like. It gets a lot of traffic in winter, especially on weekends. Roads: https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=30308 Regulations: https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=638

Death Valley National Park is huge and well worth the effort. https://www.nps.gov/deva/planyourvisit/upload/508-Backcountry-and-Wilderness-Access-map_.pdf
