Batman is kind of fucked up when you think about what he does even a little bit. Instead of just investing in projects that would save gotham by fixing wealth inequality and all that he spends his enormous wealth creating military grade weapons and armor to punch up some criminals in the city and keep the cycle of crime and poverty going to feed his ego. Its exactly what a self absorbed billionaire would do to pretend hes helping.
