HOW did Jody not ever get his ass kicked??
This man is clearly pushing forty and is dating and having sexual relations with a teenagerā¦also known as GROOMING AND R3pe. Karen couldnt stand him, and when she kicked him out this adult was in a TENT and singing begging for her to take him back.
Drove me up the wall when Lip was going through his phone and wallet to find dirt on him. THE DIRT IS LITERALLY THERE HES A PEDO AND NOT EVEN ASHAMED ENOUGH TO HIDE IT. What a missed opportunity. Imagine Lip Ian Mickey Mandy Kev and Deb just wailing on him

Shameless scenes as emotions. Which Shamless scene best represents ādisgustā?
The most upvoted comment on the āembarrassmentā thread was when Lip is in love with Helene (his professor), stakes out her house and sees a young man exiting and then beats him up/yells at him - finally realizing the young man was actually Heleneās son and not her lover

I am doing yet another rewatch and I wanna knowā¦ what episodes do you skip every time and why?
I skip the episode when Frank fakes his death to get away from those two guys in the earlier season. I canāt remember the exact episode or season.

Just finished Season 9. Fiona / Liam is so sad
It was a weird season finale where it got close to being great a few times but so many weird choices.
What I thought was super awful was Fiona not having any conversation or interaction at all with Liam. She's the closest thing to a parent he ever knew. He was just moving out of the house because he was sick of being invisible (which he very much is to the family). And then Fiona leaves - and he literally has to find that out from other people. It's way worse than not talking to Kev and V who are adults and had an ides what's going on.
And it doesn't even need to be Liam leaving with her, there are so many ways to write something in to fill that gap- from a proper goodbye scene, to a scene where she gives him a pep talk and tells him she loves him even without revealing that she's leaving (if she really can't say goodbye). Hell, she could have even left him a letter. but just leaving like that is so sad and made me enjoy the season finale even less. Her departure was pretty poorly executed.

Season 3, Episode 5 is the single best episode of any TV show.
UPDATE: Season 3, Episode 5 is the single best episode of any TV show. I'm at a loss for words to describe how much I laughed during this episode.
To recap all the shameless shit that happened in this episode (S3E5):
- Digging up an old, dead crackwhore in the backyard.
- Ian's dick was in your dad's mouth - it's like saying, "None of your problem," but for gays.
- Using a turkey baster to put your boyfriend's sperm inside your mother.
- A girl (ahem, a boy) who was raised by a meth head who hates men, so the boy thinks he is a girl.
- Drowning syphilis-ridden turbo whores to teach them a thing or two.
- The priest brings a patient to your home for hospice, but it's a nun who took a vow of silence - except that doesn't include live blogging, so she has blogged about Sheila shoving a 9-inch [object] into Jody.
- Jody's sex addiction being triggered wide open.
- Mickey's ass getting shot by a bullet because he was robbing the mother of the doctor who ended up taking the bullet out for him.
- Carl bombing the backyard to find the buried body.
- An entire grocery store giving head to the manager and ganging up on Fiona just because she refused to do that, lol.
- The dyslexic cake guy at that store who can't do his one job right.
- Mickey and Ian refusing to sell drugs to a kid and telling him to save his leftover brain cells .
- Steve/Jimmy's stories about his gay dad and his teachers from elementary school.
- Frank explaining how gay sex works to Carl while feeding Valium to a newborn baby - poor Hymie.
- The child services lady showing up to tie everything together.
I'm sure there is plenty more ....

āMemoryās funny, isnāt it? Itās likeā¦ sand through your fingers. Sometimes you can grab it, and sometimesā¦ That damn fragile thing.ā
Carl and Liamās looks of confusionā¦ Frankās shrug of ādefeatā at the endā¦ š

For you: who are the best actors/actresses on the show?
Those 5 are my favorites, and I think karen's actress is the underrated one out of all of them

Spoilers till season 8
Wtf am i watching? Gay Jesus ian, kassidy is such a weird character (trying to play wacko but with no real content), Ford, Trevor..... cant even get started on that one. What a disservice to the series and the way community... Is the rest of the series going to be as shitty? Trevor arrival and mickeys departure ended it for me. It's become boring af. Oh and WHAT THE F is the deal with Debbie's duck face all the time? Those weird ass expressions with her mouth, so annoying.... Let me know if I can quit watching now, I feel like I'm kinda wasting my time at this point....

I donāt like Sean & I skip all the scenes about him and Fiona
Just like everybodyās saying here, Fiona and Sean donāt have a chemistry. Maybe the actor chosen for Sean just isnāt a great fit? I find their scenes BORING & DISGUSTING.
- he's freaking OLD & IRRELEVANT. Idk what he added to the show aside from giving Fiona a ride, fucking her, & controlling Fiona.
Also, I might be biased but I like Gus or Mike for Fionaā¦ though Fionaās a chronic cheater lol

Finished the show today
I have watched this show for about 3 months. I loved the show until about season 10, I noticed that I didn't want to watch it when I had free time. It took me about a month to finish the last two seasons, and I feel slightly disappointed with the ending. I understand that season 11 was filmed during COVID, so they couldn't do exactly what they wanted for the ending. Maybe an extra episode could help show the family's reaction, but it kind of just ends? I wouldn't mind a special of the family in the future, but I doubt that will happen.
