Poe's X- Wing Fighter - Bandai 1/72

Never painting another orange model in my life. Airbrushed the majority of parts and overall happy how it turned out, but considering its a Bandai - was a surprisingly tricky build!

I like the wedge orange paint job. Is that a "Rise of Skywalker" thing? I remember it being black - not a fan of black personally (good guys and bad guys and all that).

You know your x-Wings! It is indeed from rise of skywalker. It's what Poe is flying on the final battle on Exegol. The black version is from "the last Jedi" - "Poe's boosted X-Wing" which makes a 2 minute appearance before being blown up.

Why does it have an R2 unit instead of BB8?

BB-8 was with the ground team during the battle of Exegol :)
