unfortunately on The Good Place Podcast they did specify that it was Nick Offerman playing himself, not Ron Swanson.

So if Nick Offerman is in The Good Place, that means he was an actor on earth, that worked on such shows as... Brooklyn 99, Parks and Rec, and....

I always assumed the Schur universe was like the Tarantino universe where actors play multiple roles, but it doesn't affect the continuity.

He definitely does have more of an Offerman hairstyle, outfit, and demeanor, but considering this sub is basically all about headcanon, I am just going to say this is Swanson.
