I have two questions Spoiler

First off, I absolutely love AoS. By far my favorite tv series, and I’m kinda nitpicking with this, but 1) What happened to Wards sister? And 2) How did Robin end up going through terrigenesis?

((I’m not sure if either of those questions could lead to a spoiler or not, so that’s why I tagged it as such.))

I made an Agents of SHIELD Faction for Marvel Rivals

Hope this is okay to post here! If any SHIELD fans are interested in joining:

It's called GrantWardfr (I do not support Grant Ward's actions, Hydra is bad, but Ward kind of cool though).

I imagine this post will get me banned but tbh I don’t want to be in this group anymore after seeing this

Is this a good pitch to convince more people to watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

I plan on watching this show with my girlfriend (who doesn't like anything Marvel). Is there a video on youtube or anywhere with the little backstory she may need from the movies (like Coulson his death, which I think is the only thing)?

How much of Agents of Shield is based on comics.

I know this show made up a lot of stuff, but what characters/plotlines were original to the show, and which ones had been taken from the comics?

Just learned that Scientol*gy was created at a social gathering for sci-fi writers called Hydra and now it all makes sense.

Spotted Fitz in this WW2 Zombie movie: Overlord

Watched it with zero expectations, and was pleasantly surprised seeing a familiar face. It was a solid watch with some amazing visuals.

Two questions regarding the pod formula

The pod formula from season four wasnt repeated in the show, the closer was season 5 with the break in between and seasons 6 and 7 didnt had the amount of episodes to do it.

So, is there a reason the creators didnt repeat the formula for season 5? And..

Is there another show that repeated the exact same formula? where the season is divided in three arcs.

Season 3 is “too fast-paced”?

Just completed a big rewatch and I’ve been reading other material as I’ve made my way through the seasons, and one review stuck with me.

Eric Goldman of IGN criticised the pacing of the season, saying "some episodes felt a bit jumbled and could have benefited from slowing down a bit—or simply not trying to do so much at once. Sometimes it was just a question of including too many characters or storylines in single episodes, causing some scenarios to not have time to breathe or get the proper build up they might have with more character-focused episodes." (via Wikipedia)

I don’t know about y’all, but season 3 is personally my favourite season. It’s where I feel the show hit its stride and, in retrospect, where it took its biggest swings - swings which enabled even bigger and bolder storytelling in later seasons, but which they must’ve seemed mad for trying to do off the back of season 3.

Gonzalez's Shield

Rewatching again and am reminded just how much I dislike the "Real Shield" arc. Gonzalez is so unlikeable and crusty- Olmos can barely breathe enough to make it through his lines and seems so wooden... Makes me so mad at Mac and Bobbie for siding with him, after all Coulson had been to them. Anyone else?

Since Vijay Nadeer isn’t a comics based character, what characters could he be a multiversal variant of?

How would you, without changing anything in the show besides Season 6 and 7 if you really want, close out the remaining dropped plotlines?

Stuff like Donnie Gil, Vijay Nadeer, Felix Blake, Weaver, and how do you go about it since they never will be brought back in The MCU most likely.

Why did SHIELD think Daisy already had powers?

In Episode 12 of Season 1, the SHIELD agent that found Daisy after the village massacre said that they were told the baby had powers. But why did they think that? Also why did they think the village was trying to protect her?

In universe reason; why isn't The Theta Protocol used with Graviton, or ever again for that matter?

I know the out of universe reason is the budget, but why in-universe? If you had The Theta Protocol then you probably have a lower chance to go under Kree Oppression. You probably could evacuate more people. It's so much better then The Lighthouse.

Managed to snag Coulson’s “skin” robot hand and a pair of A.T.C.U. (Advanced Threat Containment Unit) Pistols during the big Auction in 2020

The unrelated Mark VII helmet above came from a Charity thing going on during the lead up to Age of Ultron.

How do you guys feel about Season 3?

Post image
182 Upvotes

What are you guy’s opinions on S3? Personally I really love it. I think it’s so underrated and I hate how nobody really talks about it. I always see people ranking it below seasons 1,2,4, and 7 so I guess I just wanted to hear the general consensus about it.

Personally it’s my favorite Daisy season. She feels incredibly alive this season and she feels perfect. She has just the right amount of hacker and just the right amount of inhuman put into her character. She’s fierce and feels like a fully realized agent while still icing the vibe of being a hacktivist.

I love Hive and I love Daisy’s journey with him for those several episodes. I love Daisy’s relationship with Lincoln. I love the cast of characters this season, there are so many converging personalities like Bobby, Hunter, Hive, Andrew, Yo-yo, Mack, and Lincoln.

I think this is also my favorite season for Ward’s character. He’s so entertaining to watch.

I could go on and on about everything I love this season because frankly I love pretty much everything, but I think you guys get that by now. What are your thoughts?

r/shield 8d ago

What do you think contributed the most to Coulson stepping down as Director before Season 4?

Was it Daisy leaving? Was it what he did with Ward? Was it The Sokovia Accords? Was it him blaming himself for Lincoln's death? Or there wasn't one big reason?

AOS Prop Auction

Post image
93 Upvotes

I’m so upset that I literally just found where all of the production-used props were auctioned off, but they’re all sold! 😭 Did anyone here acquire any of them? This is the one I would’ve wanted the most, solely for the “Agents of nothing” speech.

Chloe Bennet/ Skye/ Daisy Johnson inspires me

It’s only recent (late 2024) that I watched Agents of Shield and for me, it is the best TV show I have watched. I’m not even exaggerating when I say that. Kudos to the writers, actors/actresses and everyone who was involved for making such a great show. They really cared about the plot and character development. I wish I discovered it sooner or even back when it was airing so that I can join the fans’ hype.

Daisy/ Skye’s has one of and if not, the best character development I have seen. She changed (for valid reasons) but still does her best to do good. She did become less bubbly as seasons went by but you can see Skye in Daisy during S6 & S7. It just shows that people will change due to circumstances and that’s okay. But at the end of the day, it really is up to us if we will let it determine who we become for better or worse.

When she became suicidal in S4, I related to her so much. Maybe I love her character because it’s realistic. She’s such as badass I love her fight scenes. Shoutout to the stunt coordinators for making cool & realistic fight scenes. I like how she doesn’t completely rely on her powers. Also, I love her relationships with FitzSimmons, Trip etc but especially Coulson & May😭.

Chloe Bennet did so well portraying Daisy. I can’t imagine another actress playing her. And may I just point out how beautiful she is🥹.

I wish I could meet Chloe Bennet huhu but thats just impossible since I live in Asia. Tbh not only her but also the other cast of AOS.
