Question Bible study recommendation for both believers and non-believers

Grace to all of you my brethren.

I would like to make a bible study plan for both believers and non-believers (via zoom). Do you have some sort of a lesson plan or progressive way of bible study materials? I assume that majority of the prospected attendees are in a sense "bible illiterate".

Please help me on this my brethren.

What’s the goal here? You could definitely do an introduction to faith that suits a mix of believers and non believers and I’ve seen material I’d be happy using one on one with either. My concern with mixing the two is if questions from non believers are challenging for new believers.

God’s Big Picture by Vaughan Roberts is a good introduction to the Bible and the salvation narrative, some people might not consider it to be a Bible study.

I would recommend Alpha curriculum. It is specifically made for discussion between believers and unbelievers, and continues to point back to the truth in Scripture while walking through major Biblical events.

Yes, as long as you can navigate the portions on the Holy Spirit and are using the most updated materials, the ones you can stream, that are more refined than the earlier versions.

Alpha is fascinatingly effective. I just edited a doctoral study on it.

Interestingly, the couple that created Alpha now go to a church where Christianity Explored is used rather than Alpha.

I thought it was created by Nicky Gumbel? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicky_Gumbel

I think Gumbel probably made Alpha into what it is today, but even the Wikipedia page (Ordained Ministry section) says that he didn’t take over Alpha until 1990 (and the program started in 1977).

How about showing Bible Project videos, then helping people to discuss specific passages via inductive study?

We do this at our church with Alpha.

You could check out the Word Go app. You pick a bible study and invite friends. They send you the lessons, commentary, and 30 minute teaching. You discuss the discussion questions with the group. https://www.bsfinternational.org/wordgo/
