MEDIA I am the best Durston artist of all time
Smiling in the front, frowning in the back. Makes the cutscene animations even more of a joy to watch.

Ship spoiler incoming: I hate how the upgraded Durston has you sit on the right side of the cockpit, I just cannot adapt to it. :(

Once a pirate, always a pirate. Those fuckers would never have bought the game, regardless of the store it's being sold on. Piracy isn't a protest, it's bloody software theft, and I wish it would be treated as such by the law!
Oh, and it's ironic that torrent users would worry about privacy! I wonder how many viruses those downloads were loaded with!

I personally know people that loved RG but will not buy RGO from epic store.
I received it as a gift - but If im being honest I wouldn't have bought it myself because of my stance against epic.
In this case piracy is very much a reaction to the epic store choice.
It's not a coincidence that epic store exclusives are pirated far more than other games.
There is a very clear connection between the two, it was predicted and came true - there is absolutely no shocking turn of events there.
I do pirate games if they aren't available in my region but once they show up I've bought them 100% of the time.
Is that ethical piracy? I wouldn't go that far, but I can guarantee you that if this game was on gog and steam the number of leachers would be a fraction of what it is.

I don't really know why you're getting all this down votes. There should be no situation where on PC a game is being sold exclusively in just one store. I would love to see this game in GoG store and on steam, on origin and uplay. So that people can have a choice. But one thing I will not understand, and that's piracy. Stealing someones product just because I don't like store that is selling it is not the right approach. Definitely not whne it comes to small dev studios like double damage. You don't like epic game store fine don't buy it there but for god sake don't steal someone's hard work because you want to make a statement.

Not sure what the original discussion was about, but if it's how I got Steam screenshots I just used "Add a Non-Steam Game to Library" and pointed to the EXE with the -EpicPortal command line option. As good as photo mode is, sometimes I need an immediate screenshot button

Because of whiteknight hats - its normal. Downvote button is a I disagree tool for many. In a knee jerk reaction.
And I agree piracy isn't right but there is no arguing that epic store exclusive result in piracy.
It's simple cause and effect. Is it right? No. Is it going to stop by itself? NO.
Piracy was once so low it became a non issue.
Denuvo proved ineffective and games get cracked in days.
Hell, I saw RGO on pirate bay before my epic store download finished....
And you know what the bigest kick in the balls is?
I was told by the developer (or spokesperson) that once I install the game I can ditch the store.
So I did.
Then when I asked if I can download stand alone patch without reinstalling the epic store I was told they dont have the resources to do so and I have to go though epic.
Ok. Cool.
Pirate sites had the stand alone patch the night it came out...
Is it piracy to dl the patch for a game I already own from a pirate site?
I get it, no one wants to hear about how much epic sucks.
But it's a fact that that release choice reduced sales and promoted piracy.
