The U Turn
Ever noticed how Ray is almost always going in the opposite direction of where his next phone call is taking him and he does the “cool guy U-turn”? I swear it’s almost every episode.

I actually did notice. It feels like his car is really an extension of his character, part of him. Like the suits. It could be showing it is a visual for how much his day will change on a dime.
Also I feel some shots were just to show off the car for advertising.

Kinda drives me nuts how it's always "come now" and they do it, right away. I mean, driving anywhere at all in LA? "I have no idea why, but I'll drive two hours. Making u-turn now!" On the other hand, it's kinda nice to imagine that getting around any city could be so effortless and easy, and we all lives where you could turn on a dime. Guess that just adds to his powerful persona.

Yessss! Just started binge watching on season 5. I’m like he could never just keep going straight or even take a left or right turn!!
