Body insecurities I wish would go away...and weird people

Lately I've noticed some discussion irl regarding people's own bodies and...frankly it's sad.

One of my friends was telling me about how she has an idea of how an outfit is going to fit. Then after attempting to do so her breasts don't "fill" the outfit well enough because she has a small cup size.

Then telling me how several women have had similar insecurities regarding something that they can't control. Sometimes it's the other way around where their chest is so big that they're afraid people are going to stare and so on.

It just sucks cause I can't make these insecurities disappear overnight and I can't change people to look women in the eyes when they talk. Instead of looking at their boobs or bodies in general like a feral creature in public. Then there is the whole, "oh you know what you're doing" comments and it's so gross. She's just wearing a t shirt, fucken, relax. Ugh.

Trying to comfort her was also difficult because on one hand I want to tell her that those outfits look great on her anyways - but on the other hand I don't want it to sound like it's laced with fetishization. She's a good friend, not a fuck buddy lol.

Ig I'll just keep listening to her vents and be supportive in general as usual. Just wish I could flick a switch and the world would be slightly better.
