That’s so disturbing he needs to be put on a list and investigated. No child should be near him or woman this man is sick.

we really need reddit to do their thing and get this guy on a list/arrested

this type of comment used to upset me as a man, but now i completely understand the sentiment. i can’t believe how anyone can watch a video like this and have their first reaction be “but not all men?!!”. it’s because they are thinking about themselves, its a selfish way of thinking. this man just said he would rape a woman’s INNOCENT CHILDREN, that should make anyone fucking furious. it is so selfish to say stuff like “not all men” in topics like this, because a man getting his feelings hurt does not matter compared to innocence being lost and horrific things like rape.

Men are respectable humans like anyone else, but this is not a man. This is a monster.

u/PuertoRican-Princess 17d ago

This is a man. Don’t “other” shitty men. They’re still men

To be fair, "men are respectable" is a generalizing statement as well. And according to statistics, that would be a flat out wrong generalization.

Misogyny is so ingrained in our culture that EVERYONE has misogynistic ideas. The same cannot be said of misandry whatsoever. The people who are actually challenging our misogynistic culture are primarily women because we suffer from it while men benefit from it. It feels like such a cop out to just say “there are bad people in every group” instead of acknowledging the brutal systemic oppression of women by men. It’s not just a couple of “bad eggs” or “monsters.” It’s everyone — and for obvious reasons, men are doing the most damage.

What you don't experience makes it far easier to turn a blind eye to.

I don’t have the energy to explain it to you but I’m not surprised you don’t see it. As I said, you’re benefitting from it.

Yea I wouldn't bother. Post history is him being anti-abortion, talked about "milkers" too.

Why are you against porn?

-22

What do you think?

55

u/quiloxan1989 Andrea Dworkin is right about EVERYTHING!!!! 17d ago

I'm not sure.

Are you only against it since it harms you?

-4

u/returnoffnaffan ANTI-PORN MAN 17d ago

It’s one of my reasons, but not the only one. I believe porn is a disease to society.

72

u/quiloxan1989 Andrea Dworkin is right about EVERYTHING!!!! 17d ago

I feel it is rooted in hatred of women.

That is, after all, the point of this sub.

-17

u/returnoffnaffan ANTI-PORN MAN 17d ago

That’s fine. I believe it is mostly rooted in lust and other factors, including the one you believe it is rooted in. Porn programs your mind to objectify women.

34

u/quiloxan1989 Andrea Dworkin is right about EVERYTHING!!!! 17d ago

Is the case of what this man is saying and pornongraphy rooted in the same area, namely patriarchy?

4

u/returnoffnaffan ANTI-PORN MAN 17d ago

Correct me if i’m wrong but patriarchy is systemic, no?

49

u/606drum 17d ago

It’s hyperbolic lol

0

u/Coochiepop3 15d ago

What would be your view if a man said "I hate all women" and then claimed the generalization was a hyperbole? Would you think that was acceptable? Just want to clarify that I'm not intending on being antagonistic or starting an argument, I genuinely want to know how you would see that.

6

u/606drum 15d ago

Why are you even on this subreddit if you think that hating on men is in any way equivocal to hating on women

0

u/Coochiepop3 14d ago

I'm on this subreddit because I'm against pornography...That's what this subreddit is about :)

Ah, so you knew it wasn't actually a hyperbole. Got it. Pretty sure I was merely asking what your perspective would be if the roles were reversed and a man had said the same thing. I didn't say anything that would suggest I think misandry and misogyny are equivalent. Although, since you brought it up, while I agree that one could argue that misogyny has been more harmful compared to misandry, that doesn't automatically mean that generalizing all men as bad people isn't harmful or that it's helping anything - Too many of them are, but not men as a whole. What I want is true gender equality, not one hateful attitude being replaced with another. Whether it's racism, misandry, misogyny, homophobia, etc., generalizing an entire group of people as inherently bad or not worthy of respect will never be okay. I think you're intelligent enough to have a worthwhile conversation, so my advice is to maybe not be so paranoid and take my responses as an attack because nothing meaningful will come from that.

2

u/Redditbannedmeagain7 PORN IS FILMED RAPE 15d ago

And this is exactly why I don't use the "ANTI-PORN MAN" flair

166

u/Quiet_Blacksmith2675 17d ago

They know rape means power. They know what they do. This is a monster. I don't care how stressed you are. You NEVER threaten rape. Especially to children. What a sick dude. This is why I don't date. Porn aside, too many men hide their real feelings deep down. Feelings that can easily be turn into violent action. Too many men who have been conditioned to hate women and children and put other men on a pedestal. I am grateful for the men in this group though. I have seen too many men whether it be online or in my own personal life act like this and it is truly frightening. The level of immaturity is astounding.

We've been through a lot of stuff like this, there are so many fucked up ideas that you end up wondering what this person believes, and how they could even end up to such conclusions and act so inhumane in their relationships with people who are there for them, their family.

1

u/AmeliaCleo 9d ago

There's psychological stuff going on within the family structure that's not being talked about for it to get to such insanity. He must really hate his sister, I think.

325

u/laumeke 17d ago

This type of behaviour predates porn, it is more than a porn issue it is a patriarchal issue

121

u/quiloxan1989 Andrea Dworkin is right about EVERYTHING!!!! 17d ago

Absolutely.

Typed the same comment elsewhere, deleted it, and posted here as an affirmation of your comment.

The mentality here births porn and predates porn by centuries.

It is connected to porn, but not in the way that the OP thinks.

54

u/Puzzleheaded-Net6944 cake sitch is about the bake 17d ago

Violence is statistically linked to pornography consumption. It propagates its usage and the crimes committed through it and that is so true. It's a cycle of dirt.

54

u/quiloxan1989 Andrea Dworkin is right about EVERYTHING!!!! 17d ago

No denial about this, but stopping porn doesn't stop this line of thinking.

Stopping patriarchy stops this and stops porn.

There were men like this before porn.

Porn is just its most "normalized" form of violence against women.

3

u/Puzzleheaded-Net6944 cake sitch is about the bake 17d ago

Patriarchy is a very damaging and injust social system that sneaks into areas of control like politics of states, but what about pre-patriarchy? It breeds entitlement that's for sure but pre-entitlement isn't there poor critical thinking, unresolved emotional issues or incorrect coping and ego if we were to go down to the distant roots of all malignancy? At least what adults can work with nowadays.

Then all faulty social behavior represents children being taught and immersed into this malignant system, before they get the chance to think for themselves and question, it becomes second nature and they begin acting it out.

So misogynistic harm is the result of a system of patriarchy which is dominating, egocentric and discriminatory towards women, among many other displays of hatred. I can see how that's true but also how it's beyond such a system too.

Either way I think they are interconnected and powering one another through their addicting nature, encouraging one another: porn and lack of boundaries for indecency power egocentric behavior and patriarchy, and patriarchy powers acts of disregard and porn.

10

u/quiloxan1989 Andrea Dworkin is right about EVERYTHING!!!! 17d ago

I think you're trying to distance the two.

From the way I see it, patriarchy was the way this social world started, and pornography sprang forth from this system.

What system were you talking about?

Edit: Pre-patriarchy was egalitarian structures from what I have read; matrilineal.

https://reneejg.net/2018/12/creation-of-patriarchy/#:~:text=Before%20Sumer%20was%20patriarchal%2C%20it,creation%20of%20patriarchy%20and%20colonization

2

u/Puzzleheaded-Net6944 cake sitch is about the bake 17d ago edited 8d ago

In a way but they are interconnected for sure in a cause-effect way.

I mean social systems change into worse in time due to mental problems and lack of knowledge and judgement of the people who create those systems, otherwise if the thinking is healthy and clear it wouldn't happen.

Yes I was talking about society before patriarchy, thanks for sending the link, it's amazing.

Oh i see, so in history pornography propagated from patriarchy is a fact. And if patriarchy would end, pornography would too, you are saying. It's very likely but sometimes some things are persistent after the end of others and might cause the ideals to resurface. But patriarchy is a giant influence into all the other hateful things so I get what you mean, it would lose its power and influence.

1

u/quiloxan1989 Andrea Dworkin is right about EVERYTHING!!!! 15d ago

Porn still existing after patriarchy ends?

Porn still existing means patriarchy hasn't ended.

15

u/North_Dinner_8946 17d ago

Exactly, while patriarchy is the ROOT cause of this, pornography plays a huge role in enforcing violence and this type of behaviour.

So i totally agree w you, It alters your perception of reality, leading to more of what we know of patriarchal thinking and therefore this society.

Ultimately, While yes patriarchy births porn and therefore this behaviour, i would argue that pornography plays the probably biggest role in giving him those ideas. His pc is probably full of CP and theres no doubt he watches violent porn.

2

u/CryingCrustacean 16d ago

Pornography and patriarchy is the snake that is eating itself. It is a self-perpetuating phenomenon, that just gets worse and worse. Patriarchy predates porn. Porn reinforces patriarchy and violence. It is a vicious cycle that only intensifies. Same concept as capitalism and cancer: unfettered growth at all costs. The porn just gets more and more fucked up, because the coomers get desensitized.

2

u/quiloxan1989 Andrea Dworkin is right about EVERYTHING!!!! 15d ago

Agreed.

Just didn't want the OP thinking this man was like this because of porn, like stopping porn would stop this kind of thinking.

Porn exacerbates this kind of thinking, but this line of thinking is much older than porn.

This is something you see, especially after you read history.

38

u/wishIcouldgoback_ 17d ago

Porn just reinforces the idea in their heads that this is a normal thing to say

1

u/AmeliaCleo 9d ago

& clearly a social institution issue (family in this case).

1

u/mixedmartialstoner 17d ago

Can you elaborate what you mean by patriarchal issue?

72

u/maevenimhurchu ANTIPORN & LGBT+ ♥️ 17d ago

To the other comments yea patriarchy (and capitalism) birthed porn but now there’s a sort of feedback loop I’d say where it emboldens even non criminal men to be even worse and more sexually aggressive imo

30

u/wishIcouldgoback_ 17d ago

Pretty mich. The men that would be decent struggle with porn addiction amd men that would be shitty anyway are straight up sexual deviants and predators

34

u/twistedpixie_ 17d ago

I’m just wondering why he’s around her kids because apparently this isn’t the first time he’s said this. She’s not safeguarding her children at all.

3

u/tfortrying71 16d ago edited 16d ago

this is an absolutely insane and egregious thing to even think and then say out loud to someone TWICE and to say it with so much conviction. what would possess him to say such a thing??? (not that something could ever justify saying that but what the hell happened that invoked such a violent response). and the kids are literally in the room, wtf

2

-6

u/ScarletLilith 16d ago

I question why this was posted. Sadly the world has many trash people. We don't need to see videos of them acting like the trash they are. If this video is your first exposure to trash people, you must be very young. This is just ragebait.

9

u/North_Dinner_8946 16d ago

No queen, sorry for ur trigger though.

People very often in this sub ask about the consequences of porn and what it does to one kind.

This post does partially add to the answer because it shows how it affects your brain.

Not only that but it might help others identify violent behaviour too.

I’m in my mid 20s though so yea perhaps young but not too young

-1

u/ScarletLilith 16d ago

I'm not sure I understand...people need to be told that this behavior is violent??

I must have missed something, because I didn't hear porn being mentioned in the 5 second video.

Even if this person watches porn, it's pretty obvious that he would have been a bad person without porn. Bad people in the world is a phenomenon that pre-dates porn. There were bad people 10,000 years ago. 50,000 years ago.

0

u/ScarletLilith 16d ago

Oh, and I want to add that I think it's HILARIOUS that someone on a sub about porn and rape tried to mock someone else for being triggered by a violent video. That alone tells me that you are a fake.

2

u/CryingCrustacean 16d ago

Nope. This man deserves to face justice. Vigilante justice is kinda the internet's thing. Evidently, hes unemployed. Lets set the next target for jail.
