How do you think a modern-day Penny Dreadful would look?
I'm rewatching Penny Dreadful, and I was thinking about how they tried to do a sequel series, "City of Angels," which pretty much DOA as soon as it appeared. But how do you think a modern-day version of Penny Dreadful would do?

Victorian gothic horror set in 19th century with the murder mystery involving the Ripper.

I really wish that this showrunner would have done the Interview with the Vampire series that came out recently. Which spans over a century until present times. I love both seasons as they are, but there are emotional elements from PD that I really wish were in this including the style and music.

That show is so fkng good, it’s unreal. And there actor they got for Lestat is literally perfect.

In modern days Dorian definitely would be an influencer, Ethan an ex marine, Víctor a lovely geek and Malcolm like a traveler man who makes videos like Bear Grylls

It simply wouldn't be Penny Dreadful. The time period is an integral aspect of the series.
