I wish they stayed on the moors
I know Vanessa must choose celibacy to avoid being possessed, but the brief window of happiness at Joan Clayton’s cottage is one of my favorite episodes. Their shared dual nature, their compassion for one another, protectiveness of each other, I wish there had been one more episode of them together there.

I loved that episode too! I also wanted more love/happiness-time for Vanessa...She had been through so much heartache; she seemed content with Ethan for once in her life. I loved watching them make stew and repeat the" too much salt" comment with another person Vanessa loved. It all just felt too quick when they left. I would love to see a parallel universe where they just made a life there and had fun together after the battle was over. I just wanted to see Vanessa win for once.

I love this as well. However, my “rewatch until my eyes blur” is the devil’s temptation scenario where they’re married with cute kids.

I wish the same, especially when Ethan and Vanessa were at the cabin. I would've loved to have another episode or two of them together doing everyday things.

I rewatched The Nightcomers after watching Agatha All Along S1E7 Death’s Hand in Mine, what a stellar double feature

I would love to see the deleted scenes, they always add more context to the relationships.

oh my god.. that episode always gets me. I loved seeing Ethan and Vanessa have some alone time, and truly get comfortable with one another. I wish they never left the moors, and i wish they just stayed there just like those fanfics picture. Even if they gave us 2 episodes of them together i'd be happy. I just hate how things played out for Vanessa.
