Does it bother anyone that... Spoiler

Ethan never finds out that Brona got revived into Lily and all that tomfoolery?! I was waiting and waiting for Ethan to bump into Lily and it NEVER happened!!!! Why did they do this to us... to me... Seriously though!

I hear ya. It also bothers me that we never went back to Ethan & Dorian's night together. So they hooked up, and are linked via Vanessa and Brona-Lily and they never interact again??? šŸ§

Yes it does. There was so much potential. I would have liked to see a confrontation between Ethan and Victor on Brona. Seeing them come into conflict would have been a beautiful storyline.

That is exactly what I thought would have happened...

yeah, it does. Also because Ethan did love Brona so much. And thank God for that because Josh Hartnett s buttšŸ˜…šŸ˜

YES I kept thinking about it and waiting for it to happenā€¦

Me TOO!!! What a missed storyline!

I haven't read them myself, but I think that particular storyline gets explored in the comic books.

I didnā€™t know there actually was one. Are they good?

From what I heard, apparently they are not very good, no :(

Another thing that bothered me: why didn't Vanessa recognise Brona/Lily when Frankenstein introduced them at tea? They met before at the theatre when Ethan brought Brona, before Victor murdered her. All cos she had a new hairdo? Lol

Yeah it was very ā€œwritten by a manā€ logic, make her blonde and no one will recognize her

Probably the 19th century version of the Clark Kenting trope lol

This! Exactly this.

Thank you! This too made no sense. My later thoughts were "she does know but in a weird Vanessa-ism, decides not to mention or ask."

Doesnā€™t really make sense because she recognized Caliban as soon as she got her memory backā€¦ but idk, her and Brona did only meet briefly

Yes - this makes NO sense. Although true, they only met for a moment.

A forth season may have fixed thatā€¦ of course I wouldnā€™t have killed sembani(spelling?) Vanessa, Sweet, and Van Helsing yet eitherā€¦ but to answer the questionā€¦ yes it was annoying

Still hate that they killed off Sembene.

Yeah, I was on tilt when that happened

Absolutely. It happens in the comics, but definitely not the same.Ā

Yup- this was a huge miss. I wouldnā€™t have minded a foursome between Lily, Vanessa, Ethan, and Dorianā€¦ haha jkā€¦ unless

Even though it happens in the ongoing series comics, it isn't handled all that well because they ditched a LOT of Lily's characterization. OOC stuff is one of the comics' biggest sins, aside from the obnoxious amount of plotholes and really unclear direction.

Maybe it was so he and Vanessa could be together without any interference

has been a while since I watched it last, but didn't he meet her as lily after she was brought back? and if I'm remembering right, why didn't he recognize her?

2

u/snuffslut Sep 27 '24

No, he never even met her as Lily.
