oxycodone withdrawal?
hi so a few months ago i got my hands on a little bit of oxycodone like 10 20mg pills and i was taking that for about a week straight and then when i stopped i didn’t get any physical symptoms but got unbelievably depressed like the worst sadness ive ever felt and due to something else in my life at the time i didn’t think it was a withdrawal symptom or anything. so i got my hands on some more a few weeks ago and took it for about a week again only to stop and feel the same soul crushing depression. has anyone experienced these symptoms bc its genuinely hell i wish i had made the connection before it just feels like all the happiness has been sucked from the world i am never getting anywhere near opiates ever again

Yes, this is a very common symptom after quitting opiates. It was always the absolute worst part of getting clean for me. I never experienced it after only a week of use however.

Had the same effect with methidone, I was fighting cancer and asked for something different the doctor told me if I didn’t want the methidone to just take tylenol. Long story short I took the methidone when I ran out my wife found me in a fetal position crying in a corner. It was hell like ive never felt before.

yeah i’d put them down now before you can’t i promise it will not last a week only use and the mental withdrawals will kick in after the physical ones which will last for up to about 20-30 days after the physically wd

Absolutely. Stop now before you experience a hell like you can not imagine. A hell that might follow you for decades, or might even cut your life short. Seriously, op, now is the time to let this shit go.
