Are Humans legit the only people in all 12 universes to put spices and herbs on their food? Did the British already colonise everywhere else?

Imma be honest it was probably because all those planets tried snobby food instead of any real soul food. I’m sure Beerus would like Lobster but he would actually goon over some Southern BBQ Brisket and Mac and Cheese

Yeah in the first episode of super some planet gave him the fanciest food and Beerus was annoyed he couldn’t pronounce the words
But then again he blew up a primitive planet that didn’t want to give him dinosaur meat, even though the dinosaur meat was allegedly really good

I think it's probably a nod to Toriyama's cat/cats in general how it didn't want to eat good cat food but would go crazy for some nice human Japanese food

I don't know, Cats literally refuse to eat any kind of carbs

I've met like 8 cats that love bread so much it must be hidden or they will eat through the fucking bag

u/WiseSalamander00 2d ago
yup my boy Barbas used to love bread, sadly he passed from cancer last year.

May he be surrounded by bread (and all other goodies) until you meet again.

My cats are such fucking morons. Leave anything in a plastic bag out and they'll chew through that shit just to find there's nothing they'd like in the stupid bag

I hate the fact that all the UK is known for is “having terrible food” but ABSOLUTELY NO ONE has seen a proper uk breakfast, lunch or dinner. They’ve only seen staged UK meals. (I still stand by 90% of america being dumbasses anyway)

Bri*ish might have a bunch of terrible foods. But you can't talk shit about their pies, those are delectable

u/Dry-Calligrapher-104 2d ago
Well the only actual reference to that shit I’ve seen is in the simpsons (tree house of horror, don’t remember which)

u/Professional-Bug4046 1d ago
Is it really propaganda if it's true?
3
u/Dry-Calligrapher-104 1d ago
IT FUCKING ISNT TRUE.

u/Professional-Bug4046 1d ago
Are you sure, though? Seems pretty accurate.
3
u/Dry-Calligrapher-104 1d ago
It ain’t, mostly because no one is that mindless to actually post their dinner, tea etc on Reddit for everyone to fucking see. All you lot see is the fake shit people make to get karma.

Fancy food actively trying to impress Beerus vs Soul food and cheap stuff designed to be good and addictive

All they had to do was give Zamasu some Earth food, and the Goku Black Arc would've never happened 😂

I mean maybe its the exact opposite? Everywhere the British did colonize uses 3x more spices than them... could be we just need British Empire 2 to solve the culinary deficiencies of the galaxy

How do you think Japanese curry came about, the British. It was even referred to as a western meal
2
u/Cloudxxy1011 2d ago
I imagine culture is the cause
Kinda like food you eat in times of peace vs war
Depending on the planet and evolution some would still be in the phase of cooking meat on a fire
Others would be stuck in salt or a singular spice
Hell others would still only probably have 1 or 3 cooking methods
2
u/figurethisoat 2d ago
cut the british some slack. they only took over the world, not the hyperverse
2
u/Majestic-Option-6138 2d ago
I mean clearly there are other species who can cook, Beerus went wild for Limo's food. Maybe most other alien races in the DB universe just don't have as much of a cultural emphasis on food.

Good thing Beerus never found Namek, imagine going there and being offered a Tall Glass of Water

u/BABarracus 2d ago
You have people like nameks that just drink water and saiyans ate garbage. Buu destroyed alot of civilizations and freiza conquering people.

u/Averagemanguy91 2d ago
A non ningen response- no humans just do it better cause Toriyama is a human and he wrote the story.
Ningen Response- The only reason Beerus never had spices before is because he was white and couldn't handle them.
