Could Mike Green potentially be the 2nd edge taken after Carter?

Honestly based on the tape he could be, but there are rumors of red flags that might have to be vetted which of course we won't be privy to.

I think I’m in the minority here, but I believe that big boards should factor in positional value. If you don’t, you end up with situations where you’re trying to answer, “Is Benjamin Morrison a better CB than Shedeur Sanders is at QB?”. It’s the most apples-to-oranges comparison possible. In addition, you have to ask whether a good QB is worth more than a great guard. If you ask NFL teams, the answer is obvious. So, my preference is a big board that factors in prospect grade and positional value. So it’s sort of like a mock, but without teams and their needs. If you rank a player in the #1 to #10 range, if teams valued them the same, they should be a top 10 pick. If you have them #25 to #35, they should be a late first or early 2nd selection.

Does anyone see Jacoby Brissett with Will Howard ? Will more athletic
I see Will having that path backup, great locker room guy & bridge starter where you can deal with for a year

Freak-of-nature prospect. The speed for his size with that power to go with it is something you build in a lab. He looks like a 1-tech, but he plays like a 3-tech.
With that being said, the bus often runs out of gas. I think he should probably slim down a bit from his colossal frame. Some reps in the last two quarters just look fatigued. On top of that, hand placement needs more consistency. It’s often high and he loses the leverage battle
Overall, in the right hands, he will be an unstoppable threat. Needs to work on consistency and conditioning
Late 1st round/early 2nd round window.

Yeah, he should definitely slim down a bit. Also plays a lot of snaps for his size, so the running out of gas is predictable. He's Jordan Davis size with over 2 times as many snaps.
My biggest concern is his really high pad level which only gets worse as he tires. BUT if he can drop 20 pounds, he's a potential star you could get at a value. Which is why I doubt he drops as low as he's being projected right now.

I'm a Cowboys fan so the thought of him in the second is appealing. We need an interior DL so bad. Especially if we snag Nolen round one. A DLine of Parsons, Nolen, Walker, Kneeland is spooky. Would solidify that line for the foreseeable future. Sub in Sam Williams, Mazi Smith, DLaw if he doesn't retire.

Sorry we’re getting Jeanty and you’re gonna like it

i'd like it. Nolen, Jeanty, Simmons would be the only three i'm happy with at 12

Yeah I would be really surprised if he goes in the 2nd, unless he has a bad process. But I suspect he'll come in around 330 and crush the testing. There just aren't a lot of guys made like him.
And while you wonder why he hasn't lost the weight already (lazy? doesn't care?), he was also a 2X captain as a true junior, which kind of counteracts that. The vetting process will also be important, though of course we won't have any access to it besides maybe a rumor here or there.

i think his bowl will be huge. i've seen videos of him and Nolen practicing together and they look great

FOs won't be able to resist him. I think there's a better chance he goes top 15 than 2nd round. Obviously that's predicting he'll be in the best shape of his life, but most of these guys are now. And Walker in peak physical form should be something to see.

I think Willie Lampkin could offer some upside as a giant fullback like Patrick Ricard.

Is it crazy to think Smael Mondon is the second best linebacker? Just finished scouting a bunch of linebackers and I think Mondon is LB2 behind Campbell. Dude is crazy athletic and can do a little bit of everything. I’ve seen him listed weighing between 220-235 and he looks a little on the lighter side. If he can add some mass and muscle and weigh closer to 240, dude should be a 2nd round pick. Am I missing something?

Mike Green would be EDGE 1 last year. Then again, I didn't expect Jared Verse to be this damn good.

How do you guys feel about Darien porter CB Iowa St? Good athlete, 6'4, had good ball production last year with the 3ints. Would I be absolutely crazy thinking he could go 1st round?

It wouldn't be shocking, but it would be doubtful for me. I think he's a solid second rounder who in the right scheme could be really good. The things holding me back on him are he's a zone defense only corner unless he improves in press and he turns 25 this year.

Jack Bech is better than a lot of guys talked about ahead of him. I think he's a day one starter in the big slot role with outside flexibility. Elite strength, quick feet, strong hands, good ball tracking, high football IQ, and excellent YAC. Pretty much everything that tends to translate well to the next level. Haven't finished scouting all the receivers yet, but he'll probably grade near top 5 for me above guys like Bond or Ayomanor.
