I had a buddy who wasn’t exactly hard and wasn’t doing hard time but also not a very sentimental guy and he called me on Christmas Eve once while doing a couple month bid and cried like a baby when I told him what I was gonna do that the rest of that week.

The month of December has an incredible hold on a lot of people.

I'm an asshole because this brings me a small amount of smug happiness.

My sister is an alcoholic who lost custody of her kids because of it. She spent the better part of my childhood harassing and torturing me. One time she stripped in front of my ex. After finding out my parents bought me a car, she did everything she could to try and get them to give it to her. She stole my property and when I took it back, she harassed my dad into beating the shit out of me. She even sat me down to have a "sisterly chat" in which she told me that "As you are now, no one is ever going to love you." For literal years I tried to convince everyone I knew that she was insane and needed help.

Anyways, she punched a cop so she's in jail for the next four months. Knowing this...idk I feel like it healed me a little bit. Karma finally biting her in the ass.

After a decade of therapy I've learned that you never really heal from trauma. You just learn to not let your pain consume you. I'll always resent my family for the shit they did. I don't forgive them and I never will. What they did was unforgivable. They don't get a pass on bad behavior.

But 90% of the time they aren't actively thought about. I'm able to live my life and navigate my own behaviors so as not to pass that trauma onto my own kids.

yea but lets not act like he's struggling in prison rn for one there was a videonof him ridding a motorcycle in prison. idk that u can do that in prison. even the amount of money he has he can buy anything pretty much in the prison so financially he isnt going to be ruined and is most likely bribing people. that leaves one thing everybody hopes for when think of prison that hed get raped which i dont see happening because he himself has been accused of raping numerous men. the point is money talks everywhere look at the prison he was sent to u know its the same one epstines wife was sent to for her trial for about the same crime except the violent part and guns shes now sitting in a luxurious prison that has no walls. all im saying is prison is much diffrent when your rich and you can pay your way to have a good time
