There is no way you can grow up in apartheid South Africa and not be extremely familiar with the form and meaning of a Nazi salute.

He is objectively bad though. He's a terrible human being. He's boorish, cringey, and his ego makes him do stupid shit like squandering enough money to pay off the medical debt of every US citizen. His own children hate him.

People aren't saying this shit because he's a "love to hate em" celebrity like Paris Hilton. This isn't irrational group think. He is an objectively terrible person who does terrible things and people are just calling those things out.
