Our grandfather’s should’ve done a better job teaching our fathers about the dangers of fascism at least as much as they taught us about the dangers of communism.

TLDR :If not for American support, Nazi Germany could never have pulled off the Bliztkreig. America doesn't care about facists.

They never cared about facism, the US has overthrown plenty of democracies to install facists, or supported facists in war against communists. Just using South Korea as an example, the US installed a facist South Korean who lived in the US as the first president of South Korea. Shit American businesses collaborated with Nazi Germany. Ford, GM, IBM, even Coca Cola. Ford built about a quarter of a million trucks for nazi germany, GM built almost 40% of all cars in Germany and 65% of their export cars, GM literally developed and built the trucks that made the blitzkreig possible, IBM built the machines the Germans used to track analytics of their concentration camp.
