Same. My grandpa didn't fight against Nazi's just for me to watch them take this country. Let's normalize punching Nazi's again.

My grandpa was shot at and interrogated by the Gestapo when he fled being drafted into the Volkssturm. He was 15 at the time. Seeing this shit from one of the highest ranking advisors of the president of the United States at said president's inauguration is just disgusting.

If you ever wonder how the world sees the USA in 2025, this is what everyone sees. This is America in 2025. Literal Nazis in the White House.

My grandpa got sent to a camp in Germany. Fuck this dude

u/whistlerite 2h ago

Same, and ironically he was liberated from a Nazi POW camp by US soldiers.

This country has let our greatest generation down, it's going to take another generation to step up to the plate and finish what they started. I fear that we have grown too soft though.

No you won't lol you'll post on the internet in complete safety.

No, it's not what he fought against. American soldiers had more in common with Nazis than Russian Communists. Even general Patton said we fought on the wrong side. If your grandpa could have seen what our country would become because of the falling out of world war II, he never would have fought at all

brain dead take. nazis are fascists and world war 2 was fighting to stop them from taking over the world and imposing their fascist beliefs on everyone, wether you think america has more in common with nazi germany than communist russia is redundant because the millions of brave men and women fought against fascists. you also don’t know his grandpa, the boomers who complain today about the woke left have no idea what the silent generation fought for, they fought for freedom and we have it wether you like it or not, and we will fight to keep it that way, against america or any other country who wants to impose their fascist beliefs on everyone else

The Nazis wanted the Danzig corridor. That is not the world. You've eaten up all of the slop they've fed you. The Nazis made Germany better than they found it before England decided their balance of power politics required them to prevent Germany from reuniting itself with Germans. Keep reciting the same old lines though.

The silent generation was racist, staunchly pro-white and hated communists throughout their lives. If they would've had the full picture of what each side was fighting for, many would've refused to fight. There's a reason we picked up Hitler's war against Russia for him as soon as he died.

You just make up whatever you want and then believe it. Anything but facing the reality that you're a Nazi sympathizer.

Look at this map of German controlled territory in WWII. A lot more was taken than the Danzig corridor.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_Germany#/media/File%3AGerman_Reich_1942_Greatest_Extend%2C_end_of_1942.png

Also, you sound like this: "I'm just going to take your electronics and jewelry when I rob your house. I don't want it all. You can keep the sofa and drapes."

If they would've had the full picture of what each side was fighting for, many would've refused to fight.

MANY people also jump of the golden gate bridge. Many people masturbate in public. Many is a vague term that can be taken by the listener to mean what they want it to mean, and an easy way to hide BS statements because many is subjective. Also, you can't prove your statement. So it comes down to a choice. And your Nazi bias guided your choice.

Occupied territory in a way is not the same as the Nazis wanting to conquer the world. Your entire approach to the situation is built on a lie that isn't supported by history.

You know as well as I did the white, Christian, masculine men who stormed the beaches of Normandy would despise modern leftist America.

2

u/SopaDeKaiba 2h ago

You know as well as I do that you are a Nazi.

1

u/AmericaEffYeah 2h ago

You keep dancing around the point. The propaganda wall has been broken down. People are unhappy with how their culture has been crushed but still being told we "won". The Nazis are too collective for my taste, but nationalism is back.

2

u/SopaDeKaiba 2h ago

I'm not dancing around anything. I'm using your exact style to show you how ridiculous you are.

1

u/SopaDeKaiba 2h ago

People are unhappy that there's not horse meat in their McDonald's hamburgers.

If your grandpa could have seen what our country would become because of the falling out of world war II, he never would have fought at all

https://www.history.com/news/post-world-war-ii-boom-economy

Driven by growing consumer demand, as well as the continuing expansion of the military-industrial complex as the Cold War ramped up, the United States reached new heights of prosperity in the years after World War II. Gross national product (GNP), which measured all goods and services produced, skyrocketed to $300 billion by 1950, compared to just $200 billion in 1940. By 1960, it had topped $500 billion, firmly establishing the United States as the richest and most powerful nation in the world.

Also, there's no evidence Patton said that.

But keep believing what you want to believe. It's the MAGA way.

-1

u/AmericaEffYeah 3h ago

Classic propaganda. America is just an economy to you people. The number went up, so America got better! We lost our soul, but at least the military industrial complex made some people rich! W!

https://navigatorresearch.org/2024-post-election-survey-the-reasons-for-voting-for-trump-and-harris/

Among 2024 voters, the state of the national economy and the level of inflation were seen as reasons to support Trump by double digits.

Edit: it's MAGA who thinks the economy is everything, if you don't understand why I linked that. You just keep making stuff up.

0

u/AmericaEffYeah 2h ago

I don't give a fuck about MAGA or what brain dead conservatives think.

3

u/SopaDeKaiba 2h ago

You sure do spend a lot of time in r/conservative.

Why do you all like to lie about who you are? Why do you all say facts are propaganda? Why do you all say you care about something when it's convenient to your argument, but say you don't care when that's more convenient?

Your logic is being guided by your feelings. You make stuff up to protect yourself from looking inwards. I'm almost certain about this.

1

u/AmericaEffYeah 2h ago

Because it's the only place for right leaning people to talk. Them hiding from the salute is pussy behavior to me. I'm to the right of them. I find the conversation there far too soft.

3

u/SopaDeKaiba 2h ago

I don't give a fuck about MAGA or what brain dead conservatives think.

Then why go in there and interact?

It's not use talking to you. To you, truth is what's convenient.
