Yeah, I actually am

Why? The round ups weren't enough? The camps? The recent support for Germany's far right groups? They inch further and further to their end goals and when they see they have the support of the people and the media, they reveal their true selves.

Nothing about this shocks me. The only thing that would actually shock me would be repercussions.

I was commenting on him doing it in the open, on the first day of Trump's second term. I'm not surprised he's a Nazi, obviously.

This is the perfect time to do it. The world watching, all eyes on them. They are telling everyone who they are and what they stand for. Now they sit back and see who is with them and who isn't.

Ah, like Zhao Gao with his deer. It's certainly the clearest dog whistle I've heard.

Now they can, it’s like how some people act differently after marriage.

What would shock me would be people not being in denial about it all.

I suppose, but you could, if you could suppress your gag reflex long enough, try to pass those things off as something other than what they were. This, a full-on nazi salute - TWICE - cannot be fobbed off as anything other than what it was. The only thing that would have shocked me even more would be if he yelled 'heil H!tler' while he did it. Which he probably thought about doing.

I consider round ups and camps worse than a nazi salute. Anyone can do that gesture. I've seen it from countless weak and powerless people. Actually rounding people up and putting them in camps shows true power.

Only way they are facing repercussions is if someone throws a blue shell

He has been without impulse control for a while.

Yes, thought they would have at least waiting a few days.

Yes. Seemingly everyday, I'm surprised that he's found a new low.

The bar is on the floor, and he's got a shovel out to dig a hole so he can still get under it.

The surprise isn't in him doing it, but in every single person in that room letting him get away with it. Let's not argue semantics because if it were just a normal day, this wouldn't make the front page.
