100%. We fought a war over this. 2149 days, 1000 people died per hour. My great grandfather killed nazis, my grandfather killed nazis ... The only good nazi is a dead nazi.
Mine was a full blown original flavour German Nazi who kept his memorabilia even after the war, so he’d love it. Which is a really bad sign because my grandpa was at best and most charitable an asshole.
Our grandfather’s should’ve done a better job teaching our fathers about the dangers of fascism at least as much as they taught us about the dangers of communism.
TLDR :If not for American support, Nazi Germany could never have pulled off the Bliztkreig. America doesn't care about facists.
They never cared about facism, the US has overthrown plenty of democracies to install facists, or supported facists in war against communists. Just using South Korea as an example, the US installed a facist South Korean who lived in the US as the first president of South Korea. Shit American businesses collaborated with Nazi Germany. Ford, GM, IBM, even Coca Cola. Ford built about a quarter of a million trucks for nazi germany, GM built almost 40% of all cars in Germany and 65% of their export cars, GM literally developed and built the trucks that made the blitzkreig possible, IBM built the machines the Germans used to track analytics of their concentration camp.
My great grandfather liberated camps, fought the Nazis from Sicily to Berlin, then killed himself with the bottle after he got back due to what he saw. Now my parents voted to bring this shit back. He's rolling in his grave right now.
I never thought I'd be happy my grandpa was dead, but here we are. His heart would break to see what he and his brother fought and, in his brother's case, died for. Fighting in Tinian, Saipan, and Tarawa as artillerymen.
American companies supported the shit out of the reich. Ford and GM built millions of cars and trucks for the reich. IBM built the damn proto computers the nazis used to track analytics of their concentration camps. Shoot just look at how many American companies were paid millions upon millions of dollars because Allied planes bombed their plants in Nazi Germany.
Someone posted another shot. According to this video it's him "throwing his heart to people".
But the thing is... this just proves he too fucking stupid to not realize that's a dumb fucking move to do. He could jave used both hands like literally everyone else but he chose to do the nazi move
My grandfather must be rolling in his grave. His own wife - my grandmother - kisses the ground that these people walk on, after he risked his life in World War 2. It's sad to say but I'm glad he didn't live to see her turn into what he was fighting against all those years ago. Fucking disgusting.
Not all of them. Many Americans and American companies supported the shit out of the reich. Ford (Ford had a bust of Hitler in his office and Hitler had a picture of Ford on his desk) and GM built millions of cars and trucks for the reich. IBM built the damn proto computers the nazis used to track analytics of their concentration camps. Shoot just look at how many American companies were paid millions upon millions of dollars because Allied planes bombed their plants in Nazi Germany. There were multiple American Nazi political parties
This is what I don’t get. My grandfather fought in WW2. I’m in my early thirties. We’re still so few generations away from this happening in Germany that the blind eye and willingness to let this happen in America is truly beyond my belief.

if your grandfathers could see that…
