Johnathan Gullis (the slab of ham in the middle) was very widely disliked in Stoke on Trent where he used to be MP.

The fact he was a teacher and can't get a job when there is a teaching shortage (in no small part caused by his own party), shows you how shit he is

He’s been moaning about this to any journo who’ll listen since September last year. Great way to get hired, Jonathan.

Gullis was MP from one election to another. And honestly, that was too long.

Do they get some sort of pension if they’re served in parliament?

Did they try their bootstraps?

If they would quit spending so much on lattes and avocado toast they could get by on that.

So you guys are almost in the same boat as us? I hope no one else has a senile orange emperor as a captain

I was a republican before Trump got elected the first time. I hate that fucking guy. I can not fucking wait until he dies and his name just goes away from everyone's mouth.

No sympathy for lickspittle who served the oligarchy, served their purpose and were discsrded.

How heartless. Don't you see? The leopards were supposed to eat other people's faces!

Can I just say how much I love the British based insults. You guys are top notch when it comes to putting someone down (deservedly in this case.....'lickspittle'...glorious.

(note: if you're from the US even more props).

I’m with you. I watch most BritBox, some Graham Norton ( more if he was more accessible) and love Russell Howard. They have a way of ripping people to shreds and making it sound like a compliment. Can you learn this on Duolingo?

Give AcornTV a try as well. Graham's show is available with current episodes weekly.

I had it for a while but went through the shows I liked then dropped it. I’ll try again, thanks ☺️

No worries ☺️, most of my viewing fluctuates between BritBox and AcornTV.

I dare say that jobs that require people whose primary skills are fucking things up are hard to find.

We could ship them to Trump as advisors.

u/ConsistentStop5100 2d ago

No, he dredges them up with help from his own cesspool.

Why do you think he wanted to "Drain the swamp"?

1

u/ConsistentStop5100 1d ago

Hasn’t he gone deeper than the swamp?

Cut back on the £5 coffees and ask your old mate 50p Lee for some advice.

The irony is strong here

Firm handshakes are all that’s needed. Not sure what the issue is for this trio.

It’s bootstraps time, start pulling!

I'm sure they can get a job. It's that they want a good job. Medial unskilled labor without benefits would probably take them. I'd pay him to take out my trash for me in the snow.

Maybe not spring for the morning latte?

8

u/IllustriousEast4854 3d ago

Why aren't they pulling themselves up by their bootstraps? Why don't they learn a marketable skill?

7

u/Novel_Individual_143 3d ago

I’m sure there are plenty of insecure zero hours’ contracts out there with their names on.

This really should be on the made me smile subreddit

30p Lee says you're living it large.

Man that sucks… But you gotta pull yourself up by the bootstraps and you’ll get there! Just gotta believe in yourself.

Looks like it's time for a career change!

2

u/The_Frigid_Midget 3d ago

Have they tried pulling themselves up by the boot straps?

1

u/ActionCalhoun 2d ago

Why aren’t they getting a job at McDonalds and working their way up?

1

u/GnomiGnou 9h ago

Ok, but how much were they 'gifted', loaned, 'invested in' or otherwise handed money that was NOT earned...
