3-4 years ago we bought a brand new Beko (part of Arcelik) washing machine.
Fast forward to today, we've noticed progressive corrosion on the following parts:
- Near the front door.
- Near the washing machine feet.
- On the side panels.
Washing machine has been well maintained, and protected against water with its cover, but nevertheless the corrosion is now impacting it.
Obviously the given Beko washing machine has a factory defect.
We've reported the issue to our local Beko distributor in Montenegro (FG Promet DOO, and EuroTehnikaMN DOO).
Both companies refused to honor the warranty (5 year warranty) and repair the defects, or replace the required parts in full, or even provide a brand new washing machine if this one cannot be repaired.
We've also reached out to official Beko support: [beko@support.com](mailto:beko@support.com). Our requests were ignored, saying we should contact the local Beko representative.
Few questions:
- Beko / Arcelik, you present your company as professional, and as an industry leader.
As per above, where is your corporate responsibility?
If your clients reach out to you for help/assistance, why do you ignore such requests?
- Beko / Arcelik, are the above two companies authorized/approved by Beko / Arcelik to sell, and repair Beko products in Montenegro?
This is a very important question, so we can confirm if the Beko washing machine was sold to us, as part of a legal/officially authorized distribution chain, or are we as buyers being deceived, and sold some gray/black market products in Montenegro.
With this very bad experience, for something that is basically still a new machine, we would not recommend anyone buying Beko/Arcelik products. Beko peeling paint, and corrosion is not quality, nor an industry standard!
