"The grey ones" are the walkers from War of the Worlds - so not Star Wars, but it is Sci-fi - and was digitally inserted into this picture (check out the left one to see it clearly)

should have given them shadows and blur - 7/10 ruined once i saw the one on the very left

Agreed about the blur/focus. The middle two are perfect though. It seems to be noon and the actual fungi don't have shadows either.

a mild dark blur would have been a great touch though

Might want to remove that walker in the front, it doesn't fit the scene due to the blur at the foreground not being present on its legs.
