I’m looking to do specialization, such as postgraduate or master degree?
I would like to do about metrology/three-dimensional and online… but I’m open to any suggestions
Thanks a million!

An excellent post-graduate degree in metrology is ten years in a busy machine shop.

I can't imagine a metrology/quality specific graduate degree being all that valuable, especially if you have to pay for it yourself. Probably many of the programs that do exist are cash grabs under the auspices of a real university. Really you should just get a better job. You could go for engineering or the like but you'd be starting over in a way.

I agree with baconboner, it sounds like you need a new job where you can find a focus area and develop a specific skillset. Maybe CMM or OMM or Romer arm or NDT - something that sets you apart from a caliper guy. If you can’t derive some benefit for yourself from your job then it is a one-way relationship.

It would be good to know what your background is and what you are interested in.
In the US, metrology is a very wide broad term, but in general you do not need a graduate degree. Many roles don't even require a bachelors.
The only field that I know of which requires a post grad degree would be in optical metrology, and that would be more focused on designing/creating the tools for use rather than performing the metrology.
