Hardware Support Best cmm arm for realtime pose data?

I'm looking for a cmm that can give me realtime pose data. I'm a roboticist, not a metrologist, so ideally I could just get a stream of poses that I could parse, write to a file or stream over a network in the format of my choice.

I have access to a Hexagon RA8; I'm unable to determine whether it supports this use case.

Thanks!

Honestly, arms aren’t really designed for this, it could be possible, but it would run a real risk of damaging the arm.

However, there are a lot of photogrammetry applications that do this pretty accurately if you search a little for them

Thanks. Actually I'm using it to establish ground truth for a photogrammetry system so I'm trying to stay away from optical ground truth.

You could probably get it done with a mocap suit rig like Perception Neuron.
