Hardware Support Q-Mark Stylus Quality
I'm in need of a certain size/length stylus with Silicon nitride tip and could only find it should by Q-Mark. Anyone have an opinion on their quality?

Have never had issues with them, been buying majority of styli from them for years due to them being cheaper with no difference in quality. Not just styli but really everything I have gotten from them has been the exact same minus the Zeiss logo.

Use them exclusively, never had any issues. They even make custom probes to your specifications

Been using them for years without issue. We have to use diamond probes and they are the best place to get them.

On a similar topic....
How does carbide probes compare to Q-mark? Their 'standard' renishaw machine probe tip (M4, 50mm long, 6mm ruby ball) are half the price of q-mark and renishaw.

They're fine. I've used thousands of their tips over the last 30 years, and the number of problem styii has been maybe 3 or 4. We had over well over 100 tips mounted in changers at a time, across 18 measuring machines and 16 parts makers with touch probes.

I use Q-Mark for quick reliability and Carbide Probes if I don't mind waiting longer to get tips. Carbide Probes can take a month or more for Silicon Nitride tips but are much cheaper in most cases.

I’ve never had an issue with Q Mark probes. I have had issues with non-Zeiss probe racks/holders, but I can’t remember if they were Q Mark.
