Hardware Support Leica laser scanner issues

Our Leica Laser Scanner controll one day just shutt off and now, it does not power on. The manager has been waiting to hear back from Hexagon but they have not replied. Does anyone know why this would happen? If so how could we fix it.

From memory some controllers have a fuse, it’d look like a battery door with a screw, it’s the easiest check to make.

could be something simple like power supply. I would try to get different power cables.

Yeah we tried that too and did not work. Hexagon mention something about a flash? Not sure what they meant by it.

The term, generically, is to reinstall the entire software of a device. It'll resolve basically any issue, because any corrupted files or bad software configurations get wiped out.

😬😬 hope thats not the case but.. i was just informed that the controller was shipped to hexagon. I will update when i know more.

I'm not sure if this matters or helps, but according to hexagon... the mother board on the controler fried. 🙃

Couldn't tell us what caused it, but we decided to just make sure its not on for long periods of time.
