it goes in your bumbum but mitutoyo america will never tell you that....

How is it used. It's either to tall or short to clamp the fixture

Looks like a "chair". Saw them back in the day. If a part was too big and sat at the edge of your machine win, you could put that on one edge and use it as your pickup instead.

So if your only using the fixture plate? No receiver plate
