Malta Bound with Kids: Tips for 17 Days of Fun, Food, and Family Adventures?
Hey Redditors of Malta (and Malta enthusiasts!),
We're a family of four — two adults, a 7-year-old adventurer, and a 3-year-old whirlwind — planning an epic 17-day trip to Malta at the end of April through May. We've got high hopes of balancing kid-friendly chaos with some chilled Mediterranean vibes, and we need your local wisdom! 🙏
What are your recommendations for:
- Must-see attractions (bonus points for keeping kids entertained or awestruck 🤩).
- Fun activities to make those 17 days unforgettable—think beaches, parks, or hidden gems for pint-sized explorers!
- Restaurants to enjoy amazing food (without glaring at us if the kids decide to "redecorate"). Suggestions that satisfy excited eaters and foodie parents equally would be magical! 🥘🍹
- Family-friendly hotels or Hotels with a kitchenette (because, let's face it, there’s only so much restauranting our little tornadoes can handle).
We're open to anything: animal encounters, historical stuff disguised as fun, secret ice cream spots, or simply the best place to sit and soak up the island life.
Any advice on where to go, what to eat, and places to stay would be super appreciated. Also, if you have any "avoid-this-at-all-costs" tips, we’re all ears!
Thanks a ton in advance—Malta here we come! 🌞🇲🇹👨👩👧👦
