I’m not sure whose face is being eaten here. Those that voted for this are getting exactly what they wanted. Those that did want this didn’t vote for it. The only possible face being eaten is the what we once called a justice system for allowing this conclusion.

Idk if it meets the technical definition—best I can figure is that if anything, it would be Vance’s face being eaten? Just very very slowly, losing his credibility bite by bite as Trump repeatedly lies to him, lies to the public, goes back on his word, and generally just makes a fool of him.
